Hey! For those going class outing tomorrow, we will be meeting at 11 am instead of the initial 9 am at Bedok MRT station as many people couldn't make it so early in the morning. We will be taking bus 9 to Changi Beach Park and will be playing volleyball, riding bikes and whatnot lah. Basically it's a time for us to do whatever we want. There is the Coastal Walk at Changi there too. I heard that it's pretty nice to walk along that stretch hahaha. Also, we may also be having lunch at the nearby Changi Village food centre, if we can find the place in the first place. Oh, Mr Liu will be coming too! See you all tomorrow! ^^

Yay! 100th post for our 4Byzantine'08 class blog le!! *cheers like crazy* =DD Anyway, congratulations to all Performing Arts group for doing well in our debut SYF performances as the senior group of RVHS. I think we all did really well, despite being against all the heavy-weights and more established groups from other JCs! ^^ Go go go! =)

Anyway, jiayou to people who have Physics test this coming Wednesday! Bio people have already died before! xD And jiayou to people taking the Chemistry test this coming Friday too, though I heard from some reliable source that this Chem test is not going to be very easy. =( Jiayou jiayou 4B! HEY PEOPLE!! Our long-awaited class steamboat is finally here!! We've decided to have the steamboat at Seoul Garden (Causeway Point) on the 22nd January 2009, which will fall on a Thursday. Here are the details.

DATE & TIME: 22nd January 2009 (Thursday) @ 6.30 pm

MEETING PLACE: Entrance of Causeway Point

THINGS TO BRING: Extra money (Around $15-$20 extra?! I don't know, but we will sure over-spend since the meal cost around $20+ per person) and home clothes for those who are going straight there from school

I've sent an SMS to some people, but in case some people didn't get it or pass it on, you better come to this blog and have a good look. LOL! Please pass the message to any 4B people if you see them ~~floating~~ wandering around the school.

Steamboat!!

An episode to the class chalet recently, we are coming up with a steamboat dinner. Mr Liu is granting us $150 and there is a small sum of reimbursement by the school due to the racial harmony thing. So we are able to gather before CNY to celebrate. Mr liu is interested in this outing, so he will be coming provided if he can make it. Well, right now a 2 things to settle. Date and venue.

From what i heard, some people like chih yun and myself is unable to make it on the 23rd of january. so what i suggest is wednesday(21st) or thursday(22nd). i personally feel that thursday is the best. So if anybody has some opinions about the dates, feel free to tag on the blog or sms me.

As for venue, we currently had some suggestions(mainly for zoey ,thx!)-------

2) Seoul garden at some random place.

ss hist--very few qns. look easy to complete. but qns phrases in a way which is hard to understand
english--can be completed. but summary looks abit tricky

maths--was hard for some. easy for some.
phy--killer paper.no time. qns very hard.

hello all you wonderful guys!
i had a really fun time going out with all of you. yea right aftr the last last paper. and the last last min of torture.

i will nvr forget how mich pour the whole lot of sugar in her small and tiny mouth of hers. only with us reminding she'll get diabetes and char regurgitating all the insulin and glucagon thing out. well, not really nice mmrs about insulins.

and we had a whole lot of time laffing at yting for her carelessness. okay, we didnt laff. she laff-ed. haha ask her if yea wanna know more about her oppsi-ness. lol yea we rocked the table at macs. and made the jc-uni look alot duller, but in the very whole, our whole unitedness and oneness proved that didnt matter a bit.

i love the face of meijie made of syrup. it was nice. but *oops* i didnt really dare ta laff at the crooked mouth, and ovr thick eyebrow which made me remind me of a friend i called fuzzy eyebrow.

nvrtheless, today's expedition to vivo would be a mmr i leave in my mind. and i'll really hope those who went would feel the same way as i do too.

Ya, can let more people have acess to the template? At least we can help to make this blog a livelier place! ^^ And our class name is no longer 3bangbangtang le, so do we need to change blog URL too? Oh ya, our class name is now 4byzantine based on the votes from the class. Byzantine is actually an ancient Roman empire, and it means secret, complicated and difficult to change. Byzantine is pronounced as "be-zern-tin" hor!!! Anyway, mid-year exams are just next week le, so everybody jiayou and do our very best. Show others that we can do it and prove other teachers wrong! Join us in helping talents to bloom!

Our project, organised in conjunction with Very Special Arts, Singapore (VSA), is aimed at raising funds for the disabled artists working for VSA and also raising awareness of their work. A small contribution of $2 will purchase the donor a piece of paper shaped like a flower or a leaf. Each piece purchased will be stuck onto a piece of paper with a tree design done by the artists. This artwork will be the artists' gift to the public. As the public contributes more and more, the tree will bloom more and more, and finally become a new piece of artwork, done by the public to be given to the artists in return!

All you have to do to get involved in this exciting project is to fill in the volunteer recruitment form attached and sign up for the timeslots you prefer. Each volunteer will carry an A2-sized plastic board with the paper with the tree design mounted on it. The volunteer will also carry sheets of leaf-shaped and flower-shaped paper. After each member of the public donates, the volunteer will allow him/her to stick the leaf or flower onto the tree. The volunteer will be provided with a few coloured pens which the donors can use to decorate their leaves or flowers if they wish.

All proceeds go to VSA and its artists.

对不起, 张老师这作业久了因此忘了。若是记得，我必做！事到如今，为了公平，我认为自己应该做这作业两次，这也是为了表明自己的诚意。真的很抱歉！

这是我在教会里拍的一张照片。我们都善于玩乐器，特别是桔他。可以说我们每个星期天聚会完，都会一起玩好几首歌才罢休。一边弹，一边唱，感觉真的很爽，很畅快。音乐本来就有它的特点，它能医治一个人的心，玩起音乐才会那么享受。

在教会里，我们都称大家为弟兄姐妹，在我们之间的确充满了温情。玩音乐只是我走在一起的小时候，有是我们还会一起玩棋，更也有是去野外露营。弟兄姐妹们和睦同居，是多么的美，多么的善啊！

这是我的第二则。

以上是我和一家人在医院里拍的。这是刚刚今年发生的事！我爸爸因心脏病进了医院。那时境况十分危急，医生说我爸的一条血管已90%的塞住了医生给了我们两个选择，一是吃药，二是动手术。我爸最后还是选择了长期吃药。这张照片是他做完身体检查后拍的。他说这心脏检查是一个小手术，医生会从你大腿那里伸一支管形的仪器直伸到心脏检查。他现在还很好！

人间处处有温情，那就是我们支持爸爸的时候，就是我们一起为他儔告的时候，就是我们把这照片印在蛋糕上庆祝他生日的时候。家庭就是这么的温暖，大家都那么佊此相爱。看啊！我爸虽病得不轻，但他却仍是那么嬉皮笑脸，根本看不到一点的忧虑。看到他灿烂的笑容，我们都安心了！

这是我在2007年7月16-20 日露营的照片。照片里包括了我十四位组员和我两位老师。在这露营中，我学到了不少。其中之一，便是对他人的信任。但我们在做任何事时，如果我们怀疑对方，事情进展的速度就会变慢。为了保留别人对我们的信任，我们不可以欺骗别人也必须准守诺言。俗语说得好：“疑人不用，用人不疑”。如果大家都肯合作，互相信任，必能得到事半功倍的效果。从这次的露营中，我体会了许多经验并从中学会了不少。除此之外，我也在这露营中交了很多新朋友。这些朋友陪我度过了在这几天种种困难，帮助了我不少，使我感激无愧。

假期里，我到我朋友家过夜一天。到了晚上，我们睡不着便拍起照片了。这是我的手机拍的。由于我们现在都长大了，也在不同的学校，我们的友情足见地淡薄。但因为我们是邻居所以能到她家去过夜。虽然感情不如以前，但这次的过夜增加了我们的感情。那夜非常好玩，也让我了解了友情的重要性。这照片也是我们那天的纪念。

这是我和队友在课程辅助活动中心拍的照片。这天是7月15日，首屈“希拉里挑战”的毕幕典礼。184名来自不同学校制服团体的选手们，在一项为期三天的比赛中龙争虎斗。这项比赛以来自纽西兰德蒙希拉里爵士命名，今年首次在纽西兰之外举行。德蒙希拉里爵士是征服世界最高峰珠穆郎玛峰的第一个人。
在三天比赛里，我们参加了攀岩，导航，环保，渡河，独木舟，登山等活动。这挑战了我们的身体素质，思考能力和综合知识。在这三天的比赛里，我曾因为在途中非常辛苦而想放弃。但是因为有了我的组员的鼓励和支持，我才能坚持到底。没有了他们，我看我是不能完成比赛的。虽与冠军杯无缘，但我从这次经验中体会到团队的精神和无私的友情是能使人克服重重困难的。
